The Optical Instrument Services
was a firm incorporated in 1958 and traded until 1998 from 194A, Sydenham
Road, Croydon, Surrey. Microscope 327 is an inverted microscope that was
supplied by the Optical Instrument Services, probably from the 1990s, with
the serial number 632992. The microscope also contains a label of the
previous owner, the British biotechnology company Piramed
Ltd, which was incorporated in 2001 and bought by Roche in 2008. The company
developed new cancer therapies. |
