Bunsen burner, Bottogas (1940s)

This is a laboratory Bunsen burner, engraved with “BOTTOGAS”, and should be dated to the 1940s. (Figure 1). Bottogas was a British brand of B.P. Gases Ltd, a company supplying refillable cylinders of gas for lighting, cooking, and heating, in business from the 1930s to the early 1970s.
